PURPOSE:To make temperature distribution and rise of temperature at the joint uniform and obtain a joint excellent in joining strength and joining form by providing an auxiliary heating device for joining made of ceramic coated metal adjoining to bodies to be joined and heating them. CONSTITUTION:A filler material for joining 3 is interposed between a moving vane member of air-cooled gas turbine 1 and a hood 2, the auxiliary heating device 4 for joining is superposed on the hood 2, and set in a high frequency coil 8. As the auxiliary heating device 4, a metallic body 5 of Fe base heat resisting alloy coated with a ZrO2 layer 6 of specified thickness and, as an intermediate layer, an Ni-Cr-Al-Y alloy layer 7 of specified thickness by plasma thermal spray is used. Then, pressure is applied. In rising of temperature by high frequency induction heating it vacuum, the filler material for joining 3 is molten nearly at the same time extending over thick part to thin part of the joint. After keeping at joining temperature for a specified time, the joint is cooled slowly to normal temperature, and diffusion treatment is made in a furnace of Ar gas atmosphere. |
