PURPOSE:To remove optical memory effect easily in a short time by irradiating a photosensitive body with infrared light with specific wavelength in a pre- exposure process. CONSTITUTION:The charge generation layer of the lamination type electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by dispersing pyrylium, thiapyrylium, and other charge generating materials in a proper binder and applying the resulting material on a base. A charge transporting layer made of hydrazone, etc., and a binder is formed thereupon. This electrophotographic sensitive body formed as mentioned above is irradiated with infrared rays with >=650nm wavelength to eliminate the optical memory effect in a short time. |
