PURPOSE:A composition, obtained by incorporating polypropylene resin with glass fibers and granular talc coated with polyethylene, and having uniformly dispersed talc without causing damage of the glass fibers in one-stage kneading and improved mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin resin composition obtained by incorporating (A) 40-92wt% polypropylene resin with (B) 3-40wt% glass fibers and (C) 5-50wt% granular talc, prepared by coating talc having 0.5-10mu average particle diameter with polyethylene, and having 50-3,000mu particle diameter. The incorporation of 0.1-10pts.wt. polyolefin modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, preferably polypropylene based resin modified with acrylic resin or maleic anhydride in 100pts.wt. resultant composition provides a molded article having improved flexural strength, etc. |
