摘要 PURPOSE:To enable reading of density data of continuous wide range by making read density data of each reading system obtained by density reading of a picture film correspondent to whole read density area of the reading system and connecting and composing them, and thereby connecting and composing read density data from each reading system at high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:When light beam B1 is emitted from a laser LA, and a scanning mirror GM and a feeding mechanism FS are driven at the same time, whole face of a film XF is scanned by the light beam B1. At this time, light beam B2 that transmitted through the film XF is converged by a converging optical system LCS, and then distributed to B2a, B2b by a light distributing device HM. After distribution, light beams B2a, B2b are projected respectively to photoelectric converting elements PHDs, PHDb of high and low density reading systems HDR, LDR and converted to electric signals (light measurement). Data of quantity of light H, L by the film XF and a tablet DT outputted from reading systems HDR, LDR are inputted to a picture processing unit IPU, and connected and composed making them correspondent to high and low direction of whole read density area by the high and low density reading systems HDR, LDR.
