PURPOSE:To save the equipment cost and time for carrying by enabling a portable controlling device and a cooling water device to switching and connecting to one of a self-propelling seam welding machine for face and a hand-carried seam welding machine for termination. CONSTITUTION:A switching device 5 is made to prevent erroneous connection when connecting a controlling device 3 to one of the self-propelling seam welding machine 1 or the hand carried seam welding machine for termination 2 separately for the self-propelling seam welding machine for face 1 and the hand- carried seam welding machibe for termination 2 by changing connection by an electric connector and a cooling water piping connector. However, it is also possible to change by a changeover switch from one to another etc. instead of these connectors.
