PURPOSE:To prevent a photosensitive drum from being damaged by separating the photosensitive drum and developing device more than usual when either of the photosensitive drum and developing device is attached and detached. CONSTITUTION:When the developing device 8 is detached, the developing device 8 is drawn to the front and a rail member 34 abuts on a front side projection 32 of projections 31, 32 of the photosensitive drum body 30. The slanting surface 32a of the projection 32 and the slanting part of the rail member 34 cooperates to generate operating force which allows the developing device to leaves the photosensitive drum 5 against the energizing force of a presser spring 35 to the developing device; the developing device 8 oscillates to separates from the photosensitive drum 5. When the photosensitive drum 5 is replaced, the photosensitive body 30 is only drawn to the front and then the slanting surface 31a of the inner-side projection 31 of the projections 31 and 32 abuts on the slanting surface 34c of the rail member 34; and the force which separates the developing device 8 from the photosensitive drum 5 against the energizing force of the presser spring 35 is generated and the developing device 8 oscillates around a support shaft 33, so that the photosensitive drum 5 is taken out without contacting the developing device 8. |
