PURPOSE:To permit the speed change control in the always optimum shift pattern by automatically selecting one among a plurality of shift patterns according to the variation rate of the engine load with respect to time. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of shift pattern data corresponding to the engine load are stored previously into the memory part of a microcomputer 17, and each signal supplied from a throttle sensor 10 and a car-speed sensor 11 is input into the microcomputer 17, and one among the above-described shift patterns is automatically selected according to the variation rate of the engine load with respect to time. Therefore, speed change control according to the selected pattern is permitted, and the speed change control in the always optimum shift pattern is permitted. |
