<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the energy of water, flowing into a tank, effectively and decrease the mixing of hot-water and cold water in the tank effectively by a method wherein a gradually expanding flow path is constituted between the outlet port of an inflow pipe and the bottom of the tank. CONSTITUTION:An annular resistance body 12, having a diameter larger than the inner diameter of the water inflow pipe 6, is provided on the bottom of a can body 2 opposing to the outlet port 8 of the water inflow pipe 6 at a position opposing to the water inflow pipe 6, further, the resistance body 14, having outer periphery 18 larger than the outer diameter of the annular resistance body 12, is provided and both of them are constituted so that the height of lower end of the outer periphery 13 overlaps with the height of the annular resistance body 12. Water, which has arrived at the outlet port 8, collides against the bottom of the can body 12 at first, thereafter, is spread along the bottom of the can body 2 and flows upward through a clearance between the outer wall of the water inflow pipe 6 and the inner periphery of the annular resistance body 12. This upward flow collides against the resistance body 14 further and flows downward through a clearance between the outer periphery of the resistance body 12 and the outer peripheral rim 13 of the resistance body 14. Thus, the water, flowing into the tank 1 from the outlet port 8, reverses the direction two times and flows to the bottom of the tank 1 thereby increasing the area of flow path thereof.</p> |
