<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate setting the information to be printed and achieve a high- speed printing action with high resolution, by a method wherein an ink provided on the surface of an ink film is melted by heating by a laser beam, and the melted ink is transferred onto a transfer paper, thereby performing printing. CONSTITUTION:A transfer paper 14 is fed in the direction of an arrow D together with an ink film 20, and the ink film 20 is scanned with a laser beam 200 through a transparent platen 28 at a transfer printing part. By this, the ink on the surface of the ink film 20 is melted, and is transferred onto the transfer paper 14, whereby a desired character can be printed on the transfer paper 14. The printing is set and the printing place and the printing range are controlled by a printing signal 100 from a printing signal inputting means 29.</p> |
