PURPOSE:To uniformize the temperature distribution of hot-water in the main body of the hot-water reserving tank by arranging the heat medium returning port of a jacket type heat exchanger at a position lower than the center of the height of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The returning port 13 of heat medium is arranged at a lower position than the center of the height of jacket type heat exchanger 2. In case the temperature of the returning heat medium is lower than the temperature of hot-water at the height of the heat medium returning port 13, the heat medium is cooled soon when it enteres into the heat exchanger 2 and flows as shown by the broken-line arrow sign in the diagram, thus, the heat medium is heated at the lower part of the heat exchanger 2 and the whole of water in the hot-water reserving tank 1 is heated from the lower part thereof, therefore, the temperature distribution of the water is uniformized comparatively. In case the temperature of returning heat medium is higher than the temperature of hot-water at the heat medium returning port 13, natural convection is caused in the heat exchanger 2 and the returning high-temperature heat medium moves to the upper part of the heat exchanger 2 as shown by the full-line arrow sign 20. Accordingly, the heat medium is heated by the whole surface of the heat exchanger 2 and the temperature distribution of the hot-water may be uniformized. |
