PURPOSE:To solve a handle off feeling in and around a roll limit, by discriminating the roll limit of a car with a car speed and a steering operation state, while lowering assist force for the steering operation in time of the limit. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 26 receives each signal out of a car speed sensor 24 and a steering angle sensor 25, and compares these sensor signals with a value of the car roll limit preset by a car speed V and a steering angle thetaH. And, it discriminates a fact that a car reaches to a roll limit, and when the car reaches the roll limit, it constitutes a roll discriminating device which generates a command signal lowering assist force to some extent to an assist force controlling device 23. A current-energizing time to a solenoid 20c of a throttle valve 20 is controlled by operation of the control unit 26. With this constitution, a pressure oil supply to be fed to a power cylinder 8 is controlled, and the assist force is controlled as well. |
