PURPOSE:To increase one speed change stage without increasing any space for accommodation by making a transmission mechanism in 2-stage construction and disposing a second intermediate clutch on an intermediate shaft in a position opposite to a drive gear for backward transmission system. CONSTITUTION:A second additional transmission system G5 is provided on a transmission mechanism 21 provided with a first additional transmission system G4 and the transmission mechanism 21 is made in 2-stage construction, and a second intermediate clutch 28 is disposed on an intermediate shaft 20 in a position opposite to a drive gear 14 for backward transmission system GR. Accordingly, as the second intermediate clutch 28 can be accommodated in a relatively large space formed between the drive gear 14 for backward transmission system GR and the intermediate shaft 20, one more speed change stage can be provided, hardly requiring any increase in the axial dimensions of a speed change gear and accommodating space as a whole.
