PURPOSE:To make linearly polarized waves orthogonal to each other branch in the same axial direction by combining a strip line type circularly polarized wave generator of a meander line or a grid, etc., and a circularly polarized wave- linearly polarized wave converter of a partition wall type. CONSTITUTION:A strip line pattern of a meander line or a grid, etc. having an inclination of 45 deg. against two linearly polarized waves EV, EH orthogonal to each other, which are made incident as shown in the figure is provided on a circularly polarized wave generator 8 of a strip line type. A linearly polarized wave is converted to each circularly polarized wave of a right rotation and a left rotation in accordance with a polarizing direction in said pattern, and made incident on a circularly polarized wave-linearly polarized wave converter 10 of a partition wall type. The circularly polarized wave of a right rotation and a left rotation is converted to a linearly polarized wave and made to branch to only each one side of a split waveguide in accordance with each rotating wave in said converter, and converted to a coaxial mode by an inline type coaxial waveguide converter 12b. In this way, linearly polarized wave signals orthogonal to each other are made to branch in the same axial direction. |
