PURPOSE:To reduce the fading of a copied image due to light and to maintain the color tone for a long period by using a developing soln. for diazo copying contg. an alkali agent, a neutral diluent and a light fading inhibitor represented by a specified general formula. CONSTITUTION:A developing soln. for diazo copying is prepd. by adding an alkali agent by 5-40wt% of the total amount, a neutral diluent by 0-50wt% and a light fading inhibitor represented by the formula (where R is H or 1-6C alkyl) by 1-20wt%. The alkali agent is aliphatic amine, aliphatic alcoholamine, heterocyclic amine or the like. The neutral diluent is polyol and/or its ether or the like. Hydroquinone monomethyl ether, butylhydroxyanisole or the like is used as the light fading inhibitor represented by the formula. |
