The composition of the invention comprises: - a luminescent substance (A) capable, when excited by a radiation of wavelength shorter than 400 nm, of emitting a radiation which has a wavelength of between 400 and 800 nm, and - a so-called antiStokes luminescent substance (B) capable, when excited by a radiation of wavelength longer than 800 nm, of emitting a radiation which has a wavelength of between 400 and 800 nm. The verification of the authenticity of the document can be performed by a visual or photometric detection.
