PURPOSE:To enable grasping of a long object by means of a bucket, by a method wherein semicircular bucket parts are intercoupled through a pivotally-supporting part so that they are positioned facing each othr to form a bucket, and the bucket is rotatably coupled to a fixed part secured to an arm. CONSTITUTION:Semicircular bucket parts 5 and 5' are openably intercoupled through a pivotally-securing part 16, the base of the one bucket part is attached to a rotary plate 12, and a fixed part 1, secured to the forward end of an arm, and the rotary plate 12 are rotatably intercoupled by means of bearings 8 and 15. With a motor 9 driven, the bucket parts 5 and 5' are rotated, and with a hydraulic cylinder 13 expanded, the bucket parts can be opened and closed. This enables the bucket parts 5 to perform excavation and grasp a concrete pile and the like. |
