PURPOSE:To enhance the operation efficiency of a filter and to dispense with various equipments for washing the filter, by making it possible to continuously separate magnetic particles from a fluid containing said magnetic particles. CONSTITUTION:A filter container 10 is separated by a partition body 17 having a large number of piercing holes to form first and second chambers 5, 6. In addition, fine magnetic wires 18 are provided in the first chamber 15 under tension and inserted through the piercing holes of the partition body 17. Further, a means for generating a magnetic field crossing said fine magnetic wires 18 and collecting magnetic particles, a magnetic particle guide means by a magnetic pole arranged so as to have a magnetic field gradient and a magnetic particle detachment means. As a result, because a fluid containing magnetic particles can be continuously separated into magnetic particles and a fluid containing no magnetic particles, the operation efficiency of a filter becomes high and various equipments for washing the filter are dispensed with. |
