PURPOSE:To decrease the number of component parts and to improve the operability with a cassette tape recorder by locking and releasing a subcase in response to an opening/closing action of the 2nd housing. CONSTITUTION:When an open button 7 is slided toward an arrow head A and a lock part 7a is unlocked from an engagement part 6d of a mechanism substrate 6, an engagement part 2f of the 2nd housing 2 is detached from a projected part 1a of the 1st housing 1. Then the housing 2 is turned by a subcase open spring 13, and a hook part 10c of a lock plate 10 engages an engagement part 16b of a coupling plate 16. Under such conditions, a cassette tape 19 is inserted from the side of an arrow head B and the housing 2 is closed toward an arrow head C. Then a shaft 17 of a toggle plate 14 moves toward an arrow head D, and the plate 10 also moves along a groove part 6c of the substrate 6 by means of the plate 16. When the tape 19 is loaded, the force is applied to the housing 2 from the side of an arrow head E by a toggle spring 18. Thus the tape 19 is held. Then the case 9 is locked by the plate 10 and is never turned.
