<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the opening of a cassette cover in a slide contraction mode by controlling the turning movement of the cover when the cassette tape recorder main body is contracted. CONSTITUTION:In a slide expansion mode a tape cassette 4 can be stored into a tape recorder, and a cassette cover 2 can turn centering on a turning fulcrum 8. Thus the cassette 4 can be loaded and unloaded. The cover 2 can be slided and contracted after the cassette 4 is unloaded. In a slide contraction mode a rib 3 provided on the inner surface of the cover 2 is first guided by a guide slope part 7a of a cassette tape recorder main body 1 and engages a groove 7. In such a way, the cover 2 is slided and contracted and turned into a form having small lateral width with excellent portability. While the turning of the cover 2 is inhibited in a slide contraction mode since the rib 3 engages the groove 7.</p> |
