PURPOSE:To prevent unstable motion around a bush thus to improve the performance of scroll compressor by positioning the spindle such that moment in reverse direction from turning direction will not occur in the movable scroll. CONSTITUTION:In a scroll compressor, the center OS' of spindle is located at the position separated more than the distance l4min to be determined from the maximum operating pressure ratio from the cross-point (m) of the contacting line X'''-X''' and the inside curve of spiral body in movable scroll member on a line X'-X' passing through the center OS of fixed scroll member in parallel between two contacting lines X''-X'' and X'''-X''' connecting between the contacting points of the side faces of both spiral bodies 282, 302. The distance l4 can be obtained by bringing the moment functioning onto the movable scroll member under the maximum operating pressure ratio to be negative. |
