PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable, rapid operating and thrownaway magnetic card shopping ticket by providing the ticket with a magnetic storage function and a discriminating function based opon mechanical working. CONSTITUTION:A user purchasing the magnetic type shopping ticket executes payment by the ticket. For instance, the user purchasing the shopping ticket of 1,000 yen and buying an article for 365 yen receives the ticket erased by 365 yen from the orginal shopping ticket in stead of balance althrough 365 yen can be received by cash if the article is purchased by cash. When the shopping ticket of 1,000 yen in the figure 1 is purchased concretely, a magnetic part 1 stores the contents of 1,000 yen in addition to the cipher or the like of the issued shop or the like. When the shopping corresponding to 365 yen is executed and the shopping ticket is passed through a register, the shopping of 365 yen is stored and the 635 yen is updated in the magnetic part 1.
