MEANS AND METHOD FOR HANGING ALUMINUM SHAPE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To attach Al shape materials to a hanging means with high working efficiency by providing many sharp-pointed projections to a hanging means for Al shape materials attached to a carrier beam of a surface treating device for the Al shape material, plunging the projections to the Al shape materials and fixing said materials. CONSTITUTION:Many Al shape materials 4 are vertically attached to a carrier beam 1 and are moved in a treating vessel for forming anodized film in the stage of subjecting continuously said shape materials to a surface treatment such as formation of the anodized film. Many sharp-pointed projections 3 made of Fe or Ti are erected at specified intervals on the surface of the means 2 and are faced upward. The material 4 to be treated are placed thereon and an upper die 20 provided with holes 21 to allow passage of the projections 3 is placed on the materials 4. The die 20 is pressed in this state toward the direction A by a press to pass the projections 3 through the holes 21 of the die 20 to the materials 4. If the projections 3 do not penetrate through the materials 4, the materials are retained by a retaining plate 5 so as to be prevented from dislodging from the projections 3.
