PURPOSE:To provide a liquid shampoo composition containing water-insoluble fine powder and having improved storage stability, by using a specific amount of a water-soluble cellulose ester in combination with a specific anionic surfactant, a specific water-soluble polyacrylic acid salt and a specific adjuvant. CONSTITUTION:The titled composition having high storage stability is composed of (A) 5-30wt%, preferably 10-20wt% anionic surfactant consisting of an ammonium salt or an organic amine salt, (B) 0.1-3wt%, preferably 0.5-2wt% ammonium salt or organic amine salt of a water-soluble polyacrylic acid, (C) 1-10wt%, preferably 3-7wt% fatty acid alkanolamide and/or alkylamine oxide, (D) 0.05-2wt%, preferably 0.1-1.0wt% water-soluble cellulose ester, (E) 0.1- 3wt%, preferably 0.2-1.5wt% water-insoluble fine particles such as pearlescent pigment, and (F) the rest part of water.
