<p>Electrical connectors (10) (see Figure 1) are provided with housings (28) having complementary coupling formations (25, 31) comprising drawbars having respectively a headed pin (32) and a hole (34) to receive the pin (32) of an adjacent one of the housings to interconnect the housings in line. The pins (32) are a snap-fit in the holes (32) and the pins and holes are further shaped to restrict pivoting movements between adjacent housings substantially to a single pivot axis (86) perpendicular to the line of the housings. The invention includes a method of assembling electrical connectors comprising feeding an interconnected line of the housings (28) to a terminal insertion station in a connector assembling machine and a method of assembling electrical harnesses comprising feeding an interconnected line of the connectors to a wire insertion station in a harness assembing machine.</p> |
