CASSETTE TAPE RECORDER

PURPOSE:To obtain a tape recorder which is advantageous in terms of both the operation and the design by incorporating an operation device into a product when the tape recorder is carried with its user. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette tape is inserted from the side of an arrow head A after the 2nd housing 2 is opened by the turning of a link arm 4, the tape is loaded correctly and an operation device is ready for its working. A projected part 2a of a stopping device is provided at the inside of the housing 2 opposite to a stop button 3a provided in the device 3 set on the upper surface side of the 1st housing 1. Then the rear side of the housing 2 is pushed toward an arrow head B to turn the arm 4 toward an arrow head C. A lock part 2b of the housing 2 engages a hook part 7 of the housing 1. Thus the part 2a pushes the button 3a to always secure a stop mode. In such a way, the excellent portable performance is secured for a cassette tape recorder containing no cassette tape. Furthermore a misoperation is eliminated with the cassette tape in its carrying mode.
