PURPOSE:To simply and rapidly construct an artificial island and the like, by a method wherein wall bodies are elevatably mounted to a floating body, and the wall bodies are lowered from the floating body and are seated on the sea bottom. CONSTITUTION:After a floating body 1 is tagged to a given reclaiming district, wire ropes 10 are rewound by means of winches 11 to lower two wall bodies 3, and their lower ends are seated on the sea bottom. A reclaiming material, such as soil, concrete, is charged through charging holes 6 to reclaim a space partitioned with the two wall bodies 3. Thereafte, the wire ropes 10 are rewounded to elevate the wall bodies 3, and the floating body is moved to a next reclaiming district. |
