PURPOSE:To simplify the structure to operate a supporter by a method in which a magnetism generator is provided on at least any one of the supporter and the place in the face of the supporter, and the supporter is operated toward the direction of a printing paper received by a platen. CONSTITUTION:A magnet 4 is provided on a platen 8 side the face of a supporter 19 made of a magnetic material, having a thermal head. The supporter 19 is directly operated toward the direction of printing paper 11 by the force of the magnet 4. When the coil 6 of the magnet 4 is electrically energized, magnetic force is generated in an iron core 5, by which the supporter 19 of a magnetic material is attracted in the direction of the printing paper 11, or toward the core 5 side, against the force of a tensile coil sprint 27 and turned around a shaft 42. The supporter 19, therefore, becomes a state of pressingly contacting the paper 11 with the rubber plate 10 of the platen 8 through a thermal ink ribbon 30 by means of its thermal head 22. |
