PURPOSE:To manufacture a core material at a high speed by providing a pair of gear bodies for shearing a thin band steel at a prescribed pitch by leaving a connecting part, and a pair of rolling rollers to which a chisel-shaped projection for making a connecting part contact by pressing has been installed annularly. CONSTITUTION:A thin band steel 5 fed from a feed roller 6 is shorn extending over the full width by teeth 14, 17 which have notched an involute gear, by leaving a connecting part passing through grooves 15, 18, which it passes through gear bodies 11, 12. On one roll of rolling rolls, chisel-shaped projections of two places are provided annularly. The thin band plate 5 which has passed through the gear bodies 11, 12 is fed to the rolling roll. By the chisel-shaped annular projection of the roll, only the connecting part is rolled, and the shorn part is expanded. Accordingly, a core material whose connecting part is cut easily is manufactured at a high speed. |
