PURPOSE:To enhance the heat exchanging efficiency by providing a refrigerant storage section with a refrigerant inlet and a refrigerant outlet. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant storage section 2 is made up by a pair of side walls 3, 3 and a body shell 4, and is provided with air conduit pipes 5, a refrigerant inlet 7 in the lower part of a side wall 3 on the downwind side and a refrigerant outlet 8 in the upper part of a side wall 3 on the windward side. The liquid refrigerant under an adiabtic expansion state which was introduced into the refrigerant storage section 2 from the refrigerant inlet 7 passes through multiple holes and slits formed by plate fins 6, when it is vaporized upon taking away the heat from the air inside the pipes 5 via plate fins 6, pipe wall of the air conduit pipes 5 and inner fins 12. As the refrigerant is uniformly vaporized at this time inside the refrigerant storage section 2 regardless of the downward or windward sides of the storage section 2, the heat exchanging efficiency can be enhanced. |
