PURPOSE:To permit a switch valve to open and close easily and positively, by providing a guide member adapted to open and close a switch valve by displacing a portion of switch valve to be guided in the sliding direction of valve disc in harmony with the pivot of switch member. CONSTITUTION:A control strip 34a which is engaged for latch in the valve-closing pocket 48a of guide hole 48 is caused to pivot along the guide hole 38 to a valve-opening pocket 48b. Thus, a switch member 34 is caused to pivot by, for example, 100 deg. for permitting the slide guide strip 49 of lower-half member 27a to move the lower end of switch member 34 a predetermined distance towards an axial top end side. This in turn causes the valve disc 42 of exhaust valve 32 to slide towards the top end side against urging force of spring 44, releasing a face contact between the proximal end of valve disc 42 and a hold-down member 40. In this way, the switch valve can be opened and closed positively through a simple manipulation. |
