PURPOSE:To prevent a jacket from being caught by a head when a floppy disc is loaded or unloaded, by providing a projection, which has a slope and is formed into one body together with a head mounting mechanism, above a mounting face, which mounts the head to the head mounting mechanism, and under the surface of the head. CONSTITUTION:A projection 10a formed into one body together with a head mounting means 10 is provided. That is, a head side face 3a parallel approximately with an end face 2c of a jacket notch part 2d is brought under the highest position of this projection 10a when a head 3 is in the still state or a gimbals is operated, and a slope 3d, a curvature face 3c, or the like in the upper part are not edged to prevent them from catching the jacket notch end face 2c. Consequently, the jacket notch end face 2c is slided on a slope 10c of the projection 10a when a floppy disc 2 is loaded or unloaded, and next, the jacket notch end face 2c is slided on the curvature face 3c or the slope 3d of the head 3, thus preventing the jacket from being caught by the head. |
