PURPOSE:To omit a sensor changeover switch and to improve the operability of the titled air conditioner by transmitting a room temperature signal only when detecting the presence of a human body by providing a human body detecting infrared ray sensor at a wireless remote control part, in the temperature control of the air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:In the air conditioner of wireless control in which temperature sensors 1 are provided in the main body 4 and the wireless remote control part 3, the infrared ray sensor 6 is incorporated in the wireless remote control part. When the sensor 6 detects the presence of a human body, it transmits the room temperature signal. Further, the operation mode due to the remote control room temperature sensor 1a is switched over to the operation mode due to the main body room temperature sensor 1b. Therefore, it is made possible to remove the sensor switchover switch 2 without impairing the function as a remote sensors and also to improve the operability of the air conditioner.
