PURPOSE:To contrive to simplify an operation for fitting a transfer paper, by a construction wherein a loading shaft and a take-up shaft for a transfer paper are formed in one body, which is separated from a printing part and a feeding part, and can be detachably fitted to a main body of the printer. CONSTITUTION:In a cassette 26, the loading shaft 11b for loading the transfer paper 7, the take-up shaft 15b, fastening plates 12 for the paper 7 and guide shafts 13a-13c are fitted to a panel 29 in an integral form. In each of the loading shaft 11b and the take-up shaft 15b is embedded a pressing member 38, which prevents the shaft and a reel 16 from slipping relatively to each other when inserting the paper 7, and transmits a rotating torque of the shaft to the paper 7. After a loading operation is completed, the cassette 26 is placed on guide rails 27, 28, and is inserted into the depth, thereby fixing the cassette 26 to the main body of the printer. Then, a thermal head 9 is turned in the direction of an arrow B by gripping a knob 25 of the heat 9, and is returned to an initial position, upon which the printer can be used. |
