<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize tape running and the quality of slow reproducing pictures by driving intermittently a reel motor in the take-up side in accordance with intermittent driving of a capstan motor in the slow reproducing mode. CONSTITUTION:When the capstan motor is driven intermittently by forward drive pulses D, a reel motor 36 is driven intermittently. This operation is executed each time when the forward drive pulse D is supplied, thereby winding a tape in the slow reproducing mode. Though the thickness and the winding position of the tape and the diameter of a hub of the take-up reel are varied in the slow reproducing mode, an unnatural load is not applied to the tape because the tension applied to the tape is uniform approximately, and the running stability of the tape is secured. If the reel motor is driven intermittently to wind the tape when the capstan motor is stopped, the running stability of the tape is improved furthermore to prevent surely disturbance of pictures.</p> |
