PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the wear resistance of cam parts by making the cam parts composite with fibers and binding securely the cam parts and a shaft part. CONSTITUTION:Fiber moldings 27 are disposed in the positions corresponding to cam parts 50a of centrifugal casting molds 41, 42 having casting spaces 43 for forming a cam shaft. The molds 41, 42 are rotated coaxially with the rotating center of a cam shaft 50 to be cast to act centrifugal force to the molten metal supplied into the spaces 43. The molten metal is penetrated into the spaces among the fibers of the fiber moldings 27 by the centrifugal force by which the cam parts 50a and the shaft part 50c are securely bound. |
