PURPOSE:To correct a time base by an integer-fold sampling clock period in a circuit scale smaller than 2/3m (m is the number of channels) by providing a data selecting circuit using a shift register, which has output taps whose number is equal to the number of channel, in a recording and reproducing system of video signals. CONSTITUTION:The video signal is demodulated by a demodulator 21 and is sampled by an A/D converter 22 and is converted to a PCM signal. Data distributed by a distributing circuit 23 have time references detected by a time reference detecting circuit 24 and are stored in memories 25-1, 25-2, 25-3, and 25-4 without changing arrangement of data by using the distributing clock as a start pulse. A reference pulse is used as the start pulse to read out data, and data are integrated to one channel again by an integrating circuit 26. In a data selecting circuit 27, output taps S1-S4 of a shift register 30 are selected in accordance with a value (n) to synchronize always the distributing clock and the time reference of the video signal with each other. |
