PURPOSE:To enable forming and processing of continuous welded belt having airtight properties such as a plastic molded article, by driving each oscillating face with an oscillator making oscillation of an identical phase and amplitude. CONSTITUTION:Components of the titled horn are made to continue unitarily by a center side branch 2 and an edge side branch 5 with each other, an extension part 6 having an identical cross section with the center side branch 2 is formed on the center side branch 2 and either the extension part 6 is made into a length corresponding to a quater of a wave length of a longitudinal wave to be generated on a continuing part in a continuing direction when the other end of a rod 1 is oscillated or a portion from a free end of the extension part 6 is formed into a block 7 which possesses mass corresponding to the portion and is shorter than the portion. The edge side branch 5 is made into a processing face R by making the branch 5 into a continuous plane and the other end face is used as oscillating faces d1-d3. The edge side branch 5 is oscillated at an identical phase with the end face other than the edge side branch 5 of the rod 1 when a longitudinal oscillation having the identical phase and amplitude is applied to the oscillating faces d1-d3, formed into such mass exerting no influence upon a resonant frequency of the rod also, additional mass is loaded to the portion connected by the center side branch 2 by the extension part 6 and the block 7 so that the longitudinal wave resonates with the connected portion in the direction of the connection and both the loop of longitudinal oscillation stress and the loop of stress in the direction of the connection of the rod 1 are made to coincide with each other. |
