摘要 PURPOSE:To improve magnetic characteristics by melting with vacuum melting method the silicon-iron added with specific quantity of high purity silicon in pure iron, by rapidly melting the vacuum ingot in a high frequency induction furnace of reducing or inert atmosphere and by pouring in a mold for precision casting. CONSTITUTION:Pure iron is added with high purity silicon of 1.5-4.5wt% and made an alloy in a vacuum melting furnace. A vacuum ingot is adjusted with the chemical components, is maintained the N2, O2 gases in minimum level and the other impurity (C, P, S, Mn, etc.) is maintained at a definite level or lower. Remelting of the vacuum ingot uses a high power density high frequency melting furnace and after the vacuum ingot is inserted in the furnace, replaced with an inert gas and the ingot is rapidly melted again continuously supplying the inert gas into the furnace from a tube provided on such a position as the lid of the furnace. Then, a core is casted in a mold for precision casting. This method can manufacture the core of great permeability, low coercive force and great magnetic flux in low cost.
