PURPOSE:To secure the superior steering stability and brake performance and improve low fuel-consumption without incurring the reduction of durability by arranging a belt layer onto a carcass side and arranging a single-layer ply having a width of 80-98% of a tread width onto the tread side. CONSTITUTION:A belt layer 6 consists of a single-layer ply 7 contiguous to a carcass and a folded ply 8 whose both edges are turned onto a tread side over the single-layer ply 7. The width BW of the single-layer ply 7 is within a range of 80-98% of a tread width TW and the width FW of the folded ply 8 is within a range of 90-110% of the tread width TW. Carcasses 3 and 4 extend in the direction of a wall part, and the turned-up parts 3b and 4b and a bead apex 5 having high hardness are formed integrally, and a high rigidity is maintained ranging from a bead part to a side-wall part, and the steering stability can be improved. |
