PURPOSE:To faciliate data processing for evaluating misconvergence by converting the input of a signal converting means into a digital signal, and providing an arithmetic means for evaluating the misconvergence. CONSTITUTION:A constant current is supplied from a power source 30 to a potentiometer 7; its resistance change is changed to the voltage change of a proper level in a differential amplifier 31, and converted to a digital signal in an AD converter circuit 32. A control switch 35 is connected through a controlling interface 34 to a bus 40, controls a data-fetching interface 33, and fetches the digital signal to the bus 40 from a circuit 32. A CPU37 performs the arithmetic operation needed for the digital signal and works out a misconvergence quantity (d). This quantity is written in a RAM38 and also printed out on a display device which is not shown in the figure.
