PURPOSE:To adjust easily the head position by providing respective signal write parts of even and odd blocks on both sides of a designated track of a floppy disc and making their length in the radial direction longer than the two-fold length of the width of write signals. CONSTITUTION:Signal write parts 12-1-12-7 of even blocks and read signals 13-1-13-6 of odd blocks are provided alternately on one side and the other of a designated track 11 on a floppy disc 10 respectively like stepping-stones, and azimuth signal write parts of signals alpha and beta and an index position write part 14 are provided. Consequently, deviation of the head from a prescribed position in the peripheral direction is discriminated when signals 1, 2, and 3 are detected, and deviation of the head in the central direction is discriminated when signals 5, 6, and 7 are detected. |
