PURPOSE:To improve a rate of fuel consumption, by letting an engine do idling for the specified time, automatically after running at high load, while reversely making it so as not to do unnecessary idling any more after a sufficient light load running state. CONSTITUTION:An engine running state discriminating device discriminates whether a supercharged internal-combustion engine is in a high load running state or a light load running state, while an ignition switch discriminating device discriminates whether an ignition switch is on or off likewise. In consequence, a counter device is counted up every specified time when the ignition switch is on and the engine is in a high load running state while it is counted down every specified time when the engine is in a light load running state. A comparator device compares a counter value of the counter device with the specified value. An ignition control on-off device makes ignition control being on when the counter value is above the specified value or the ignition switch is on, while it makes the ignition control being off when the counter value is below the specified value and the ignition switch is off. |
