摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent carbon or the like in engine exhaust gas for driving a turbine from entering the rear surface side or bearing side of a turbine, by blowing out compressed air after the compressed air supports a shaft into a space proximate to the outer peripheral part of the rear surface of the turbine. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air fed from a compressor through an intake-air feed pipe 28 is jetted and fed into a gap between a journal bearing 22 and a shaft 21 and gaps between thrust bearings 34, 31 and an impeller 2 or a turbine 1 from a passage 27 through air feed holes 23, 35 and constrictions 25, 36. The compressed air fed into the gap between the shaft 21 and the journal bearing 22 flows in part along the shaft 21 and flows out from the bearing holes of the thrust bearings 34, 31 to the impeller 2 side and the turbine 1 side. Meanwhile the remaining part of the compressed air (about a half thereof) flows into an exhaust groove 29 in the journal bearing 22, and is then guided through a guide hole 30 to a distributing groove 29 in the rear surface of the thrust bearing 31. Accordingly, the remaining part of the compressed air is jetted through blow- out ports 33 onto the rear surface of the turbine 1.
