PURPOSE:To attain ease of change in function, addition and introduction of an optional device by means of the changeover addition of the software by setting a telephone system channel and a signal system channel via a switch matrix provided in a telephone set. CONSTITUTION:The talking system channel and the signal system channel are accommodated all in rows and columns of switch matrixes MX1-MX3. A microcomputer CPU is constituted that a control signal for the switch matrixes M1- M3 and an oscillator MF is transmitted as a parallel signal in, e.g., 4-bit. The channel by a handset, that is, the channel by a transmitter T and a receiver R is formed by closing cross points P11, P22 of the MX1. The hand free channel, that is, the channel by a microphone MC and a speaker SP is formed by closing the cross points P11, P22 of the MX2. Moreover, the channel by an external device connected to the terminal TM is formed by closing cross points P13 and P24 of the MX2. |
