PURPOSE:To attain efficiently maintenance and management of a subscriber's set by providing respectively a storage device for maintenance diagnosis recording of subscriber's set to an exchange station, a fault self-detection means and an automatic calling means to each subscriber's set to attain quick and proper troubleshooting of a fault with the operation of an attendant board in the station. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission reception code supervisory sensor in a subscriber's set 1 detects a fault, the subscriber's set 1 allows the station to recognize as if the subscriber's set 1 hooked off by closing an electronic switch corresponding to a hook switch, the loop is closed for the subscriber line 8 between the subscriber's set, a level signal transmitted and received between the station and the subscriber's set is transmitted and automatic calling is attained. When the subscriber's set 1 dials a maintenance specific number and the equipment 1 is connected, the faulty information is transferred to a storage device 4 by using an out-channel by providing a function to be connected to the bypass line through the changeover of switches and fetching the faulty information to the storage device for maintenance and diagnosis. The storage device 4 for maintenance and diagnosis records the subscriber's set identification number and the faulty information automatically. |
