PURPOSE:To aim at reducing the control force of an engine upon engine stop, by forming the governor lever from a plurality of pieces which are coupled together by means of a resilient member, and by making the thus formed governor lever abut against a stopper lever on the side near to a control rack and remote from the resilient member. CONSTITUTION:A governor lever is formed of a main governor lever 4 and an auxiliary governor lever 20 with a bifurcated section 6 at the front end of the main governor lever 4 holding therein a pin 22 on a control rack 8. Further, the base of the main governor lever 4 is loosely fitted into the boss section of the auxiliary governor lever 20. Meanwhile the notch section of the auxiliary governor lever 20 which is fitted onto a governor shaft 15 is arranged such that it may be made to abut against and separated from one corner 23 of the main governor 4, and both levers are united together with a spring. A stop lever 1 is made to abut against the governor lever on the control rack 8 side. With this arrangement, the stop lever 1 may be rotated irrespective of a spring, and therefore, the control force of the stopper lever may be reduced. |
