<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I [R<1> is hydroxymethyl, formyl, carboxy, or carbamoyl which may be replaced, respectively; R<2> and R<3> are H, or OH-protecting group: R<4> is alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, -CH2-A-R<5> (A is single bond, methylene, S, or O; R<5> is cycloalkyl, or aryl)] and its salt. EXAMPLE:3-( 4-Carboxybutyl )-6beta-( 3alpha-hydroxy-3-cyclopentyl-1-propenyl )-7alpha-hydroxybicyclo[3,3,0]oct-2-ene. USE:Useful as an inhibitor of blood platelet aggregation, and usable as a remedy and preventive for thrombotic diseases. PREPARATION:An aldehyde derivative shown by the formula II is reacted with a compound shown by the formula VI or formula VII (R<10> is aryl, or alkyl; M is alkali metal) to give a ketone derivative shown by the formula III, which is treated with a reducing agent, the hydroxyl group is protected, and a compound shown by the formula I is obtained through a compound shown by the formula V.</p> |
