PURPOSE:To obtain the titled mat without lateral slip, by fitting a hoisting wire rope into a metal short pipe having a wire previously passed therethrough, placing a flexible steel material side by side with the pipe, and fixing the steel material on the above-mentioned rope with the wire in embedding the hoisting wire rope in an asphalt mat. CONSTITUTION:Two supporting frames 2 and (2a) are provided on a depositing yard 1, and a wire rope releasing device 10 is mounted on the one supporting frame 2. A wire rope tensioning device 9 is mounted on the other supporting frame (2a). A wire rope 4 is connected through eye splices 6 respectively to the above-mentioned two devices 9 and 10, and the above-mentioned rope 4 is embedded in an asphalt mastic 13. The wire rope 4 is fitted into a metal short pipe 24 having a wire 23 previously passed therethrough, and the metal short short pipe 24 is collapsed and fixed together with the wire 23 therein on the wire rope 4. A flexible steel material 11 having the central part (11a) protruded in the form of a ring is placed side by side with the above-mentioned short pipe 24, connected to the wire rope 4 with the mounting wire 23 and deposited with the asphalt mastic 13 at a position of the middle level of the mat thickness. Thus, the aimed asphalt mat fixed without lateral shift is obtained with certainty.
