Mechanical seal between rotary components

The mechanical seal works between two components turning in relation to each other. It has a seat sealed to one component and fixed to the axial and peripheral directions, with a sliding component on the other spring-loaded against the seal and joined to the other component by flexible tubular component. An elastic component (19) is fitted between the tubular component (16) and that (10) accommodating the sliding one (15). This fits closely against the tubular component.
