PURPOSE:To drain water with good efficiency by a method in which a vertical water-collecting pipe having a slit aperture in its periphery is buried in the end portion of a water draining device buried horizontally under the ground, and a water-permeable cover is attached to the opening of the upper end of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:Water which percolates the ground by rain fall is collected in a water draining device 10 and discharged through a water conveyance tube 7. Water in the surface layer of the ground, etc., goes from holes 38 provided in the cover 34 attached to the upper end of the water collecting pipe 26 into the pipe 26. The water in the pipe 26 exudes through the slit aperture in the periphery of the pipe 26 into crushed stones 24, goes from the holes of the cover 25 attached to the end of the water collecting tube of the device 10 into the tube 7, and is discharged. |
